The recent activity in the Middle East has demonstrated the vulnerability of traditional systems to high-intensity electronic warfare. We are currently prioritizing Scout AI, a pure-play AI provider for the military that is building the “intelligence layer” or “brain” for the next generation of unmanned platforms.
Why Scout AI is critical right now: The current regional environment has rendered many traditional GPS-reliant and human-piloted systems ineffective due to sophisticated jamming. Scout’s core technology, Fury, is architected to address this. It supports mission-level autonomy in the GPS-denied and high-jamming environments now observed in Lebanon and Iran. Unlike legacy hardware, Fury allows unmanned ground vehicles and drones to “see,” reason, and coordinate as a team without relying on vulnerable satellite links or human intervention.
Investment highlights:
Significant early traction. In its debut year, Scout secured $11M in Department of Defense contracts across four programs. We view this level of early-stage revenue as significant for the defense sector, providing a clear line of sight to a $221M near-term pipeline.
The Defense 2.0 opportunity. Scout offers an earlier-stage entry point into the AI defense paradigm. While established peers in the sector are currently seeking capital at valuations approaching $60B, Scout provides exposure at a $300M pre-money valuation.
Proven autonomy. The Fury system is currently operating on U.S. bases and has successfully secured prime contracts with the Army, moving into roles traditionally held by legacy defense providers due to its ability to integrate quickly onto existing assets.
